These are top quality musicians pianos. The U1G dates from about 1971 to 1975, within the period we regard as the best for Yamaha. Fitted with a practice pedal which is better mechanically than the Yamaha "silent" system. We believe they have a richer, mellower tone than new Yamahas, the U1G being often a little richer than the U1H. We have over 10 U1s, all in as new condition.
